One of seven designs on totem pole at Brown's Point Park in Anchorage, Alaska
At 9:40 pm on June 26, 2010, about two hours before sunset, sunlight barely breaks through the trees along Chester Creek in Anchorage, Alaska. This section of the 7+ mile bike path is surrounded by a dense tree cover of spruce and birch. Even though it's very bright at this time of the 'night' in Anchorage, light barely makes it to the forest floor. It was a very eerie feeling...almost like walking through a dark tunnel.
